First Adoption Event

The kittens went to their first adoption event today! They were a hit with the volunteers and spent most of the event being cuddled in their arms or playing with feather teasers. They are so comfortable with dogs, that they were able to zoom around the Petsmart event napping in my arms and giving all of the kitty friendly dogs kisses. After the event was over, the kittens packed into their carrier and took a well deserved nap. They are such cuties.

Cone Heads

The girls had to wear little cones to keep them from licking their spay stitches. Snicker Doodle demanded that Ginger Snap play with her...

But all Ginger Snap wanted to do is cuddle...

After some playtime, Snicker Doodle decided cuddling was a great idea too...

And we girls had a great cuddle session, cones and all!

Ready for Adoption!

The Christmas Cookies got spayed and neutered today so they are ready to find homes of their own!

All of the Christmas Cookies are big time love bugs. They LOVE to cuddle! Biscotti is always on my play looking adoringly at me...

Snicker Doodle retired from her perch on my shoulder and got comfy in her favorite bed with her fuzzy blanket.

And Ginger Snap played peekaboo with her foster brothers... She is the cutest little one.

Snuggles with Spaghetti

The girls love to snuggle in their big doggie bed and their foster brother Spaghetti is quite the ladies' man! He is always wiggling his way in to cuddle with his tortie girls.

I came into the kitten room to take a study break and there was little Ginger Snap, napping away! She is so darn cute!

Meeting the Cookies

The Christmas Cookies were a sweet group of kittens that came to LDCRF after being raised in a loving foster home as bottle babies. These little guys are super friendly and have been beautifully socialized.

I picked them up directly from their foster and brought them home to hang out with my shy little Italian Duo and their new big bro Calamari, who had arrived earlier that day. The Christmas Cookies came right out of their carrier to explore and meet their new roomies.

Little miss Ginger Snap, was the tiniest of the litter and quickly explored and then settled in for a nap. It had been a long day!

Her bigger sister Snicker Doodle was ready to play and cuddle!

Biscotti was a curious boy and had to play with all of his new feather teasers before settling into his kitty bed.
